We gather both online and in person, some participating individually or in groups. Others establish autonomous craftivism groups or integrate our 'Gentle Protest' methodology into other activist organisations. This fosters skill development, knowledge growth and respectful dialogue to promote thoughtful and effective gentle craftivism. We also share our work in solidarity on social media.

We provide physical and ethical DIY kits, books and tools that are delivered all over the world to help individuals, groups and organisations on their journey as courageous, compassionate and strategic changemakers. We are a hub to learn about gentle craftivism: the theory and the practice. The frameworks and the varied positive impact gentle craftivism can have in many different contexts. We work with the charity sector, arts sector, some brands and conferences that want to make tangible changes and use craftivism as the hook to share our Gentle Protest philosophy with their audience. This can be through bespoke or off-the-shelf sensory workshops, presentations, training sessions, creation of new resources and more.

The assumption is that there’s a team behind the Craftivist Collective, but it’s intentionally just Sarah, working with skilled specialists and volunteers when needed, supported by patrons who contribute monthly or annually to help Sarah do what she does best. This enables the direct support of a growing community of compassionate changemakers, fostering value and sustainability in creating innovative work for genuine, long-term change.
