Whether you want to add an element of practical craftivism to your event, use the power of gentle protest as part of an upcoming project, or are simply looking for an impactful and thought-provoking speaker, the Craftivist Collective can help.
Our founder, award-winning campaigner Sarah Corbett, is available for a limited number of engagements every year, offering services including:
TALKS / teaching
Described as a passionate and inspirational speaker, Sarah’s experience covers a huge range of settings. She has delivered four different TEDx Talks and spoken at the Do Lectures as well as numerous other conferences and festivals around the world. She has been on live radio and international TV, chaired Twitter debates, recorded podcasts (including this one for Lush) and guest lectured at Parsons News School (NYC), Bauhaus University and Helsinki University amongst others.
WORKSHOPS / events
Practical workshop sessions can really help to engage people at your event. Over the years we’ve created sessions for organisations like Unicef, Mind, Tate Lates and numerous festivals, working with groups from 12 to 600 people. A series of drop-in workshops for the V&A Museum brought in 150 at each session, and a series of seven shows for Secret Cinema reached a total of 5,000 people.

If you’re planning a craftivism project of your own or want to include an element of gentle protest in your work, Sarah is available as an expert consultant. She can provide training, product creation, project management, event production and curation, facilitation, collaborations and more. As well as years of experience developing products, projects and events of her own, she has also worked with a range of organisations, including Etsy, The Climate Coalition, Ben & Jerry’s and Craftspace.
