With the strapline ‘big ideas in a beautiful space’ and set in the stunning Compton Verney, Warwickshire setting for an intimate crowd of 500 people, this is going to be one very special festival. Already names one of The Guardian’s Top 25 Summer Festivals

With the brains behind Salon London events (writer Helen Bagnall & musician Juliet Russell,) this is going to be a festival full of food for thought. Also Festival hopes to be “an enhanced experience offering more time to explore ideas within a natural environment. The Also Festival has an intimate feel with a guest list of only five hundred, and placing it in over a hundred acres of landscaped grounds by a natural lake, we’re making it easy for you to enjoy a full, frank and fun exploration of ‘Speed’, the theme for the first ever festival from Salon London.” With tickets at £90 for the weekend or £45 for a day ticket- it’s one of the cheaper festivals too.

Speed? Why is our ‘slow activism’ going to be part of this festival?!

We will be delivering a ‘slow activism’ craftivism workshop as part of this festival. Buy your ticket here.  Looking at the fast world we live in and how there is a sense of urgency to tackle injustices but we need to tackle them in a thoughtful, strategic and emotionally intelligent way.

Join us at the festival were as well as delivering our workshop, we will be going to other talks, workshops, and activities – we don’t want to miss out on this brilliant festival! Do you?
