30 Aug Scotland Craftivism Bootcamp: extension & tweaks to application for you
After
1. We have extended the deadline for the application to 9am Monday 23rd September so that people who have been away on holiday have more time to apply & share with others and also for people who want to find sponsorship (£120) from their employer or another organisation. Please do spread the word far and wide
2. We had feedback from people saying that they would love to take part but they didn’t feel that they fitted the brief as ‘leaders’ of communities or they didn’t want to take on this responsibility or commitment because of other commitments and capacity. We don’t want to stop people attending who are interested in using craftivism so we have opened the application up to be suitable for individuals who simply want to increase their own knowledge of and involvement in Craftivism, but support and training can also be provided for those who wish to share the message with others in their community. We should have a great mix of people 🙂
We have 15 places so if you in Scotland & online pharmacy us prescription interested in craftivism then this craftivist training programme is for you! Places are competitive so please apply before the deadline for your application 9am 23rd September.
The 3 day Craftivism Bootcamp is from Friday 01 to Sunday 03 November at Hospitalfield House in Arbroath. It is in partnership with Craft Scotland and part funded by a grant from Creative Scotland.
Not sure if you should apply?
Well maybe these questions will help your decision:
1. Do you have a passion to make the world a better place for people and planet?
2. Are you interested in using craft to engage people in a more thoughtful transformative approach to activism?
If so, this 3 day residential workshop is for you (or someone you know who you thought of when reading these questions)
This opportunity is open to applicants living and working in Scotland.
Places are limited to fifteen people and the cost for the weekend is £120. Craftivism Bootcamp is being considerably underwritten by Craft Scotland through a grant from Creative Scotland.
