22 Jul A Scotland Craftivism Bootcamp – please apply!
You
The 3 day Craftivism Bootcamp is from Friday 01 to Sunday 03 November at Hospitalfield House in Arbroath. It is in partnership with Craft Scotland and part funded by a grant from Creative Scotland.
Not sure if you should apply?
Well maybe these questions will help your decision:
1. Are you a member of a community where people know, respect and listen to you?
2. Do you find yourself as a natural leader sometimes even by accident without aiming to be?
3. Do you have a passion to make the world a better place for people and planet?
5. Are you interested in using craft to engage people in a more thoughtful transformative approach to activism?
If so, this 3 day residential workshop is for you (or someone you know who you thought of when reading these questions)
The Bootcamp is intended as an intensive training legacy programme where you will get a thorough grounding in craftivism (activism through the medium of craft), and become a potential “multiplier” using the “train the trainers” model.
The Bootcamp will be held from Friday 01 to Sunday 03 November at Hospitalfield House, Arbroath.
Places are limited to 15 people and the cost for the weekend is £120 (Craftivism Bootcamp is being considerably underwritten by Craft Scotland through a grant from Creative Scotland).
I, Sarah Corbett is the founder of the Craftivist Collective will be leading the bootcamp.
This opportunity is open to craft makers and activists living and working in Scotland.
