11 Dec Join us at TOMS Shoes Christmas GIVE popup shop this Friday :) #imapiece
Seems like more and more people and organisations know who we are which is great (thanks to you all for joining us in crafty activism and spreading the word!). Recently TOMS
We love what TOMS do to engage people in global issues- when you buy one pair of their ethical shoes another goes directly to someone who needs them in the global south. I love that they are now doing eyewear where it’s even better- when you buy a pair of their sun/glasses they give sight to a person who needs it! A-mazin! 🙂 and a great talking point.
The workshop is free so please encourage people to come and hang out with me (Sarah C), have a chilled out Friday stitching, reflecting on how we can all be our best selves (my new catchphrase!) and the best global citizens we can be. Come on be part of the #imapiece Craftivist Jigsaw project you know you want to! ;p x
the photo is from a lovely anonymous craftivist who posted us these pieces together. If you are him/her please let us know who you are so we can thank you, accredit you and let your MP know what you’ve created 🙂
If you can’t come on Friday to the workshop (I know it’s a working day:s) then why not join our #imapiece workshop at Bust Craftacular 3pm-4pm on Sunday 16th December in York Hall, Bethnal Green, London, join another event across the UK or set up your own Stitch-In. All info is on our events page of this websitee 🙂
