Exhibitions + Craftivist-in-Residence

Solo shows with Sarah as Craftivist-in-Residence include:

  • Craftivist In Residence at Imagine Belfast festival of ideas and politics 2024 sponsored by Craft NI (crafts council Northern Ireland). Included an exhibition, drop-in workshops, timed sold out workshops, in-conversation evening event with CEO of Craft NI and lunchtime workshop at Craft NI Gallery.

  • ‘Gentle Protest’ exhibition at CraftCorner (hosted by Finland’s Crafts Council) as part of Helsinki Design Week 2017 including workshops, talks and participation on Design Week panels and media

  • ‘Gentle Protest’ exhibition at Handarbetets Vänners Galleri, Stockholm, Sweden. 6weeks in the Summer of 2015. This included a pop-up shop, as well as a series of sold out events and workshops.

  • ‘Gentle Protest’ exhibition at Lush Studio, Soho London for 8 weeks 2019. Including a pop-up shop, workshops, events, Gentle Craftivism curated library and book club event.

Our work has been part of many group shows large and small around the world from community led exhibitions to national galleries and museums. We do not discriminate.

  • ‘The Future Is Present’ exhibition at Design Museum Danmark (Copenhagen) 2022-2024 (extended due to popularity). I co-curated a room on ‘the future of activism as gentle protest’ with Curater Penille Stockmarr

  • ‘Renegade Potters and Extreme Craft’ exhibition at Ink_d Galllery, Brighton 2010
